Here at Brookview we see the results of Alzheimers and Dementia everyday as many of you at home do. A fellow healthcare provider has issued a challenge to seniors and we've posted it below. We will be helping some of our residents participate and hope you will help us spread the word.
"July and August are Senior Selfie Months, a celebration established by SYNERGY HomeCare and government leaders to help seniors learn how to connect with their loved ones through social media. SYNERGY HomeCare of Greenville is encouraging local seniors to take part in the Senior Selfie Challenge: snap a selfie and raise money for the fight against Alzheimer’s. For every Senior Selfie posted to its Facebook page, SYNERGY HomeCare will donate $5 to the National Alzheimer’s Association. Use #SeniorSelfie and #EndAlz when posting to make sure we see your selfie!"
