Common questions

Does Brookview Healthcare Center accept Medicare and Medicaid?

Yes. Brookview Healthcare Center is a Medicare and Medicaid certified skilled nursing facility. Our admissions team will help you understand what your coverage includes and answer any billing questions before your loved one arrives.

What's the difference between short-term rehab and long-term care?

Short-term rehabilitation is a focused stay — usually after surgery, a fall, or a hospital visit — with physical, occupational, and speech therapy in our rehab gyms. Long-term care is for residents who need ongoing daily support and make our community their home. Our team will help you find the right fit.

How do we arrange a stay after a hospital discharge?

Call our admissions hotline at (864) 490-0044 (or our main number, (864) 489-3101) and our team will walk you through it. We coordinate directly with the hospital's discharge planner and your doctors so the move is smooth and nothing is missed. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, most major insurance plans, and private pay.

Can we tour the community before deciding?

Absolutely, and we encourage it. Schedule a tour online or call us, and we'll show you around — including our rehabilitation gym — answer your questions, and introduce you to the team who would care for your loved one.

What types of care do you offer?

We provide 24-hour skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation (physical, occupational, and speech therapy), long-term care, and short-stay respite care, along with tracheostomy care, complex wound care, and IV therapy.

Where are you located and which areas do you serve?
