Registered Nurse — Unit Manager
Lead the nursing team on one of our units, overseeing resident care, staffing, and clinical quality day to day.

About this role
As a Unit Manager you are the clinical anchor of your unit. You set the tone for how residents are cared for, how families are communicated with, and how your nurses and aides are supported through a shift.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will spend your day on the floor — rounding on residents, problem-solving with your team, and making the judgment calls that keep care safe and personal.
What you'll do
- Supervise licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants on your assigned unit
- Round on residents daily and respond to changes in condition
- Review and update care plans in coordination with physicians and therapy
- Serve as a point of contact for families with questions or concerns
- Monitor documentation, medication administration, and infection-control practices
- Support onboarding, training, and scheduling for unit staff
What we're looking for
- Current, unencumbered South Carolina RN license (or compact privileges)
- Experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting
- Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations
- Current CPR certification
