*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION   ***

We understand that connecting with family members is incredibly important, and there are a variety of other ways you might consider connecting with them.  These may include telephone, email, text, or through Skype or Facebook.

You're welcome to call to check on your love ones at 864-489-3101

To ensure the safety of our residents all employees will be checked daily for fever and any other symptoms of COVID 19. In addition each resident will be checked daily as well.

If you have a loved one here in the facility you can call and check on them at any time. If a nurse is unable to speak with you at that moment we will take a message and have someone call you as soon as possible.

Residents are being encouraged to stay in their rooms and group activities have been cancelled based on recommendations from the CDC and DHEC.

Along with national (CDC), state (DHEC) and local health officials, Brookview Healthcare Center is monitoring the outbreak of the viral infection known as COVID-19 (coronavirus disease-2019). We have put preventive measures in place to help ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors, and our staff has been educated and trained to best respond to any potential cases.

If you have traveled to an area where COVID-19 is occurring (see the CDC list of affected countries here) OR if you have been in contact with someone who has recently traveled to these countries, please be aware of any possible symptoms (see list here).

If you suspect that you may be ill, please call YOUR health care professional who will work with the state’s health department and the CDC to determine if you need to be tested.

If you have general questions about COVID-19, the DHEC Care Line is available at 855-472-3432 from 8 a.m to 6 p.m seven days a week.
